Readorium is proud to announce another award for excellence in education! Earlier this December, CEO Harriet Isecke, along with Marketing Director Reem Fakhry, travelled to the Reimagine Education conference, held at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, to accept a Bronze Award for K-12 Innovation in education.
Reimagine Education is an international organization that is sponsored in part by the Wharton School of Business’s SEI Center for Advanced Studies in Management. The organization is the world’s first “think tank” for management education. Reimagine is also sponsored by QS Stars, a rating system for higher education.
This year, the Reimagine Education Awards attracted a record number of innovations: over 550 applicants competed for these awards globally. Universities who entered included UC Berkeley, Northeastern, MIT, Stanford, Princeton, Columbia, University of Michigan, Johns Hopkins, London School of Economics, National University of Singapore, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, The University of Hong Kong, Australian National University, and the Indian Institute of Technology. Out of the more than 550 applicants, about 140 were shortlisted. All shortlisted applicants had the opportunity to present their innovations at the Reimagine Education Conference and Award Ceremony on Dec. The K-12 Innovation category called for “transformative educational initiatives” that serve students in this grade range.
Harriet Isecke, was overjoyed to receive the award, which recognizes the effectiveness of our automatically adaptive web-based solution that teaches students strategies for understanding complex science text that continually adapt to their needs as they read.
